    Vashistha Yoga Nepal Marks International Yoga Day 2026 with Programmes in Kathmandu and Jhapa

    Vashistha Yoga Nepal organised a series of yoga and wellness programmes in Kathmandu and Jhapa to mark International Yoga Day 2026.

    A five-day Vashistha Pancha Prana Vidya Camp was conducted in Kathmandu under the guidance of yoga teacher Dheeraj from Vashistha Yoga Ashram in Ahmedabad, India. The programme focused on traditional yoga postures, pranayama and the connection between breath, body and wellbeing.

    Free public yoga sessions were also held, while a special corporate yoga programme was organised for Alfa Beta employees to promote stress management and workplace wellness.

    In Jhapa, yoga awareness activities were conducted in collaboration with Arjundhara Municipality. Students at the Vedic Sanskrit Academy in Arjundhara also received training on yoga and pranayama practices.

    Programme coordinator Manju Sharma said Vashistha Yoga Nepal plans to expand yoga outreach to schools, communities, corporate institutions and local governments, while contributing to public health promotion and yoga tourism in Nepal.

    The events were supported by Alfa Care Diagnostics.
