The Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Everest Bank to receive Rs 5 million (Rs 50 lakh) under the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
“The financial support will be used to help children with heart disease from low-income families who are unable to afford treatment,” said Dr. Rabindra Bhakta Timala, Head of Pediatric Cardiology.
The Heart Center said the partnership would strengthen financial assistance for vulnerable pediatric cardiac patients and improve access to life-saving care. It also expressed gratitude to Everest Bank for supporting children in need of heart treatment.
