The Nepal Nutraceuticals Cosmeceuticals Association (NNCA) has postponed its scheduled programme for September 5 (Bhadra 20) in view of the ongoing flood, landslide and natural disaster situation in various parts of the country.
In a press statement, the association expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and property caused by the disasters and extended condolences to bereaved families. It also wished for the speedy recovery and safe rehabilitation of those injured and affected.
The NNCA said that, in such a difficult situation, protecting human life, rescue, relief and humanitarian assistance should take priority over celebrations, ceremonies and institutional programmes. The association also said it would remain active in relief collection, coordination and humanitarian support.
The programme scheduled for Bhadra 20 has been postponed until further notice following a decision of the association’s central committee.
